ETS Condensed Training at The Philippines

The “Equip To Serve” Condensed Training took place ar Bethel Baptist Church, Bukidnon, on November 27–28, 2025. A total of 24 participants attended the training, consisting of church leaders, potential leaders, and several pastors. The church showed a strong desire to grow in discipleship and leadership development, and their engagement throughout the sessions was encouraging.

During the course of the training, the pastor overseeing discipleship—who also serves as our main ETS coordinator—experienced a mild heart attack. This unexpected situation became a significant challenge for the team, as he plays a key role in the program. However, we immediately gathered in prayer, asking for God’s sustaining grace, healing, and peace for him and his family. By God’s mercy, the training was able to continue, and we successfully completed the entire condensed program within the two-day schedule.

On Sunday, December 2, before my preaching service, we held a brief Recognition Ceremony for those who completed Condensed Book 1. Bethel Baptist Church holds two morning services, and while some participants were recognized during the early service, we were only able to document the recognition held in the second service through photos.

Looking forward, the church leadership is praying and planning to proceed with Book 2 Training early next year, ideally before February, with a smaller group of approximately 10–15 trainees. I have encouraged the leaders to begin facilitating Book 1 Training on their own starting January, so that they themselves can begin the journey of discipling others while preparing for their Book 2 sessions with me.

The leaders expressed excitement as they now fully grasp the vision, structure, and purpose of the ETS program, and they are earnest in adopting it as their discipleship pathway.

Our hope and prayer is that Bethel Baptist Church will be able to firmly establish the ETS program not only for discipleship but also as a strategic tool for evangelism, especially given their location directly across from a public school with over 25,000 students. The potential impact for outreach and Gospel ministry is significant, and the church is eager to be faithful stewards of this opportunity.

Thank you for your continued prayers and support. We are grateful for what God has begun in this church, and we remain committed to walking alongside them as they strengthen leaders, multiply disciples, and extend the Gospel to the next generation.

Sincerely,
Aquillo Namoc
