Valdemar’s July 2025 Update
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, this is the activity report from April to July 2025…
First, I'd like to share some good news about Irma's health. She was prescribed four red and four white chemotherapy regimens, with a 21-day interval between them. So, our calculations were that we would be under observation until November and possibly December. The good news are that we didn't know that with each application, they were giving her one red and one white, so there will only be four instead of eight. Therefore, her chemotherapy will end in August, and September will be for observation. We will return to Monterrey sooner than expected.
I have had the opportunity to share Mondays each week during our stay in Guadalajara at a Rehabilitation Center, sharing with them The Bridge Illustration, teaching them how to do their Quiet Times, and explaining the 5 Lessons on Assurance.
I'm now continuing with the Oaxaca group on Book 3, on Fridays, and following Mimi's announcement on social media, two new groups have emerged. One of them, on Tuesdays, is with people from Monterrey and Ecuador. The Ecuadorian brothers are from Cuba, whom we met on our missionary trips. The other group that emerged is from Cordoba, Veracruz. It's a group that had completed Book 2, and I'll be teaching them Book 3 every Tuesday.

With our sister Delsa's group in the Dominican Republic, we're taking a break as she patiently waits for Irma to feel better so she can also participate.
While we are in Guadalajara, the pastors who are also staying here have also given me the opportunity to explain the D.I. ministry to them, and they have shown great interest in the teachings.
We are pleased to receive from Cuba a photograph of the last reunion studying Book 6 of EPS, their graduation, which we will also celebrate with them the day we travel to Cuba. God willing, it is the Rhema Baptist Church group in the province of Havana.
We give thanks to our Heavenly Father for each of the participants in the D.I. ministry, and especially to those who support us in the ministry of Discipleship International Mexico. We also greatly appreciate the prayerful and financial support you have given us during this time of trials. May our Heavenly Father bless you greatly!
Sincerely,
Irma & Valdemar
