Valdemar’s Update: April 2026
Please accept my kind regards, and extend them to the entire team of the ministry of DI. Here is the report of activities from January to March 2026…
Group in Book 2
I would like to start with the Discipleship groups I am teaching:
I have 3 groups that I meet up with weekly. The first group has finished Book 3, and it’s with people from Cordoba, Veracruz. I teach them on Zoom, and I finally had the opportunity to meet them in person during the January missions trip. We did door-to-door evangelism in Córdoba, and we are about to start Book 4.
The second group I lead is made up of people from the coast of Oaxaca, they are about to finish Book 4, and it is a group where many are teachers by profession, so the teachings are very enriching.
The third group is made up of people I met in Cuba, and then migrated to Ecuador. We are currently in Book 2.

The King’s Garden Church in Tehuacan
About this year’s Missions Trips, we were in Tehuacan and Cordoba in the month of January. In Tehuacan we worked alongside with different churches, such as “Huerto del Rey” (The King’s Garden), which is the church my son Valde and my daughter in law Nadia attend.
It was a large team to work with, and we distributed many Bibles. We were also sharing the Gospel in public spaces such as parks.
In January we also had the opportunity to meet my disciples who finished Book 3, from Cordoba city. It was a great way to encourage them to practice the Bridge Illustration. It was very moving and rewarding to be with them sharing the Gospel in their Church’s neighborhood.
In March, we had the Monterrey Missions Trip 2026. The team included 8 Canadian missionaries, 1 Chinese, 1 Cuban and 4 Mexicans.
We worked with 5 churches and there were 6 teenagers on the team, that’s why we focused on organizing soccer matches in the afternoons, playing against non-believing teenagers. We gave prizes to the winners so we could establish relationships with them and share the Gospel.
We also shared the Gospel door to door, and in the streets around the churches we partnered with. We distributed around 300 Bibles to people who made a decision for Christ.
We are also very thankful to the Lord for my wife’s health. In February she completed her surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy. And we are also grateful to the many brothers and sisters who supported us through their prayers and financial support, allowing Irma to complete her treatment.
We thank the Lord for so many blessings, knowing that “He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?”
Sincerely,
Irma & Valdemar
