Kenya's First Quarter Update 2026

General Summary:
The quarter focused on discipleship training monitoring, evaluations and sensitization across Yatta,Thika , Masii and Machakos regions.

Classes demonstrated steady progress, with trainees advancing through Books 1–5 and showing readiness to initiate independent classes.

During the quarter we conducted DIT sensitization event at Africa Brotherhood Church Headquarters during clergy ordination and this expanded awareness and mobilized new participants for both physical and online training.

1: Thika Pastorate-Kisiiki

• Key Areas Evaluated:

  • Book 1: The Five Assurances, How to Mark Your Bible, Prayer Format

  • Book 2: The Wheel Illustration, Testimony

  • Book 3: Bridge Illustration, Understanding Questions

• Remarks/Way Forward:

  • Participants well-trained and encouraged to start their own classes.

  • Follow-up visit scheduled for July 2026 (Book 6)

2: Thika Sub-Headquarter

  • Participants shy in engagement.

3: Masii Sub-Headquarter

• Key Activity Conducted:

  • Sensitization activity covering training objectives, vision, and mission (Matthew 29:19, Jeremiah 1:10).

  • 30 trainees purchased manuals and ready to start training.

  • ETS class to commence immediately.

  • One participant to enroll in online class.

4: Masii Sub-Headquarter (Kangondi)

  • Allocate more time for classes to achieve goals and strengthen Bible study.

5: DIT SENSIZATION DURING AFRICA BROTHERHOOD CHURCH CLERGY ORDINATION

• Venue: ABC Headquarters, Machakos

• Activity Objective: Sensitize participants from different denominations about discipleship training during the Africa

• Brotherhood Church clergy ordination ceremony.

• Key Observations:

  • Many members had not yet been reached by the program.

  • Some assumed training was only for aspiring pastors.

  • Mobilized group expressed readiness for physical and online training.

  • High interest in ETS course enrollment.

• Decisions & Agreements:

  • Immediate follow-up with interested participants.

  • Physical class referrals to nearby sessions.

• Next Steps:

  • Add online class recruits to WhatsApp group.

  • Manee Kenya to organize new online class for recruits.

• Conclusion: Sensitization reached over 50 participants from various denominations, underscoring the need for continuous outreach during major church events.
